While I was aware of this trend — I see it loud and clear in my own neighborhood — I hadn’t realized how wide-spread this trend actually was in the US. In my own neighborhood I see several EV drivers with long cables from Level 2 chargers in the garage, and extension cords presumably from a 120 Volt outlet. Volker, Calvin G.

Can EVs be good enough—and can manufacturers roll them out fast enough—to meet the goals set in 2021 by the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26)? Promoting mixed-use neighborhoods—areas that put work and residence in proximity—would allow more bicycling and walking. An EV operated in Yunnan emits about 60 percent less.
