The comparison is based on a consumption and emissions analysis of 10 typical four-seat small cars ranging from the Audi A1 to the Fiat 500 to the Toyota AYGO, all fitted with the most economical Otto engine variant. The design is also optimized for air hybridization (when a small air tank is applied to capture and reuse wasted energy).
