The student team from Laval University (Quebec, Canada) took the grand prize in the “Prototype” category at the 2009 Shell Eco-Marathon Americas , held 15-18 April at the Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, CA, with 2,757.1 The UrbanConcept entries included two vehicles powered by combustion engines and one by solar power.
