The power electronics module is connected to the e-motor via the sort of yellow-and-orange 3-phase cable typical for electric vehicles. The connection to the lithium-ion battery is established via two traction cables. When regenerative braking is used at level ‘D2’ or above the brake lights therefore automatically come on.
