The Climate Change Commission’s analysis shows that by 2030 67% of cars entering the New Zealand market are EV. The transition to electric vehicles depends on the availability of renewable electricity and the infrastructure to enable users to charge their vehicles. The scale of this transition cannot be underestimated.
