And many of these vehicles are large SUVs and trucks, with near or above 100 kWh battery packs which produce significant CO2 emissions in their mining and manufacturing process. A better approach in our view would be to have an MSRP cap of perhaps $40,000 to $45,000. But a minimum of 150-175 miles of range for BEVs could also make sense.
