IFQC annual ranking of gasoline sulfur standards sees progress around the world; US drops to 46th

Montenegro leaped 48 slots, from 89 th place in 2010 to 41 st in this year’s ranking. As a result, it passes into refined products, such as transportation fuels, when crude is processed at the refinery. Overall, the majority of countries are moving toward low-sulfur, cleaner fuels. Sulfur is found naturally in crude oil.
