Buoyed by the US government’s CARS (“Cash for Clunkers”) program, US auto sales slowed their decline in the US in July, dropping on 12.1% Cadillac Escalade ESV sales increased 32% while Escalade sales increased 3%. Light truck sales were led by the RAV4 compact SUV with best-ever July sales of 15,912 units, up 32.5%
