BEV sales in the UK have grown rapidly over the past year – with demand rising, at least in part due to petrol shortages, which dried up many motorists’ gas tanks in September. Conventional hybrids and plug-in hybrids will continue to be sold until 2035, after which only pure electric vehicles will be allowed into the UK market.
