Last week, 37 electric vehicle (EV) driver associations from 26 countries, including Plug In America, joined forces to create the Global EV Drivers’ Alliance, building a worldwide EV community. Like Plug In America, the Alliance is calling for every new light-duty passenger vehicle sold in their countries to have a plug by 2030.

Customers in the Philippines, Thailand and Indonesia emerged as the most enthusiastic about electric cars. Along with the release of the study, Nissan announced that the new LEAF will go on sale in seven markets in Asia and Oceania during the next fiscal year: Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea and Thailand.
