With the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill grants covering up to 80% of the cost of charging infrastructure projects, that means that a charging location with 8-180 kW chargers can easily cost taxpayers $1 million. And a big part of that could and should be good old Level 1/120V chargers and smart outlets.
