Clean Energy awarded $13M contract to build hydrogen station and supply fuel for Foothill Transit buses

Foothill Transit has been a 20-year partner with Clean Energy and is currently operating more than 300 of their buses with renewable natural gas (RNG) at two stations built by Clean Energy. The contract is valued at more than $13 million. The project will be funded using assistance from the Federal Transportation Agency.

US DOE Awards $300 Million in Clean Cities Grants to Support Alternative Fuels, Vehicles, and Infrastructure Development

These projects put more than 9,000 alternative fuel and energy-efficient light-, medium- and heavy-duty vehicles on the road, and establish 542 refueling locations across the country. The vehicles and infrastructure being funded include the use of natural and renewable gas, propane, ethanol, biodiesel, electricity, and hybrid technologies.
