As a comparison, GM sales in the US for the first five months of the year reached 885,141 units, a 13.8% With sales of its Chevrolet lineup jumping 103.6%, sales of its Cadillac products growing 98.1% and sales of Buicks rising 22.0% Demand for its Wuling products surpassed 100,000 units for the fourth month this year.

As a comparison, in the US GM sold 195,380 units in June, up 10.7% to 71,782 units as the result of rising demand for its Chevrolet lineup, a jump in sales of its Cadillac products and the ongoing strength of its flagship Buick brand. Sales in June rose 23.2% on an annual basis to 176,486 units. from the same period in 2009.
