Independent of specific connector type, charging stations fall into three main categories, each with distinct attributes: Level 1 – De Facto/Legacy Charging Level 1 chargers connect to regular 110/220-volt AC (alternating current) electric outlets, ranging in output from 1 to 7.5 kWs and are included with EVs manufactured in the U.S.
