Even the most prestigious sports car brands are going electric, though McLaren recently announced an extension of its gas and hybrid engine partnership with Ricardo. Maserati, whose Ferrari-derived gas V8s sing one of the most intoxicating songs, just did the opposite.

The customer will only pay a monthly fee about $240 (US Dollars) which includes a full maintenance service agreement; carbon offset payments and in some countries even all electricity used, and insurance. Today we could be using lead-acid EVs, lead-carbon-acid EVs, or nickel metal hydride or lithium-ion hybrids.
