Volvo XC40 Recharge and Polestar 2: EV cousins offer different takes on “premium”

Those are Los Angeles, New York City and the San Francisco Bay Area. The electric XC40 comes from Ghent, Belgium, incidentally. Under current rules, that means up to 200,000 Polestar vehicles will be eligible for the full $7,500 federal income-tax credit. Polestar is an entirely new and separate brand from Volvo.
