Starting in 2016, the Swedish brand has included plug-in hybrid versions of pretty much every new vehicle it sells in the US. . It’s called the XC40 Recharge, and the earliest versions aren’t cheap, priced from about $55,000 including delivery. The electric XC40 comes from Ghent, Belgium, incidentally. Volvo’s first EV.
