The benefit of a higher voltage connector has nothing to do with the speed at which the battery will charge it has to do with the conductor size. Once weve consolidated everything to depend on the grid, we can clean up everything by cleaning up the grid. The US standard is 120V@60hz the UK standard is 240V@50Hz.
