In 2021, 65% of all passenger vehicle sales were battery electric an additional 22% were plug-in hybrid. Oregonians can apply for the rebates within six months of purchasing an EV. The manufacturer hopes to convince customers that incomplete charging infrastructure need not be a barrier to buying a battery-powered vehicle.
