Robot-suitable mechanical parts were hard to come by, but combat robot parts were more readily available due to their popularity on TV at the time. They were not widely used, but for some reason the surplus store had a big box of them. Ted Larson at Hasbro HQ in Rhode Island. in 2005 with Hasbro as our first customer.
