The pure electric vehicles, for reserve, must carry heavy and expensive batteries—which add expense as well as weight—and must have access to high-powered recharging stations [ 1 ]. These energy transfer systems are already everywhere in the country. PHEVs’ batteries can be used as the storage medium.
