The move towards charging vehicles safely from the electric grid has advanced after Europe’s automobile manufacturers agreed to a first phase of joint specifications. The agreement only covers one- and three-phrase AC charging in the short- and medium-term and reflects the needs of passenger cars and light commercial vehicles.

Earlier this month, Green Star Products along with its International Consortium partner Global Green Cars had publicly tested its full electric vehicle version at tracks in Utah and Kentucky.
