The high-voltage battery in the BMW i3 consists of eight modules (each with 12 individual cells), which together produce a rated voltage of 360 volts and generate approximately 22 kWh of energy. These laminates form the raw material for the manufacture of CFRP parts and components at the BMW plants in Landshut and Leipzig.
