Nissan to begin production of Pathfinder hybrid in Russia; importance of Russian market

Nissan launched its Pathfinder range in the Russian market at the Moscow Motor Show. The plant currently builds the Teana, Murano and X-Trail, and Qashqai will be added in 2015. A regenerative braking system automatically recharges the battery by converting the vehicle’s kinetic energy that would be otherwise lost in braking.
