Three years ago, the magazine Popular Mechanics even wrote an article prodding the auto industry for not building the 100 m.p.g. Now, of course, Bright Automotive is ready to unveil the IDEA, with the expectation it will have 50,000 ready for sale in 2013. Later, he went on to work at auto supplier Delphi Corp.
