Many in the auto industry are warning that realistic BEV range numbers under varying conditions need to be widely published , else risk creating a backlash against EVs in general. Range risk concerns obviously are tightly coupled to EV charging availability.

Tax credit incentives are also available to consumers in the U.S. Since most families have at least two cars now, I foresee an electric commuter car and an ICE road trip car (you know, an Escalade or Dodge Ram crew cab ;o) in the future. market for sustainable “green” energy purchases.
