Competition is going to force them to produce a comfortable, usable, extended range EV for that price, and I will just have to wait. o well I guess they think all yanks hate diesels. hopefully diesel prices will dip below regular since they finished all of the low sulfur diesel producing plants.

For extended range I guess one could carry a fairly modest generator set in the trunk to avoid ever being stranded. and your Honda/Sony car will be perfectly happy with any Durcell/Energizer pack just like AA calls in your flashlight. No single vehicle does it all even in todays petrol world. use a long range solution.
