Audi, Airbus and Italdesign are presenting for the first time a flying and driving prototype of “Pop.Up This innovative concept for a flying taxi combines a self-driving electric car with a passenger drone. We at Audi are convinced of that. Audi is also supporting the Urban Air Mobility flying taxi project in Ingolstadt.

Volkswagen Group America CEO Pablo Di Si told MotorTrend at the Chicago Auto Show this week, “It is not in the plans anymore.” Although part of VW’s 2020 alliance with Ford included building a medium-sized pickup, it won’t launch in the US. It’s currently sold in South America, but again, it won’t enter the US.
