Nissan Leaf – the Standard Bearer. Kia/Hyundai/Genesis – Coming on Strong. Kia had its Soul EV on the market and made its presence known, then added the Niro EV (and PHEV & Hybrid), but now is adding the EV6 crossover. We’ve had a chance to test the Soul and were impressed, as we were with the next EV, the Kia Niro EV.

No Australian plans yet, with the company focusing on America first then Europe. BMW iX1 – EV version of the X1 confirmed by 2023. BMW iX – ground-up battery electric vehicle promises to take the luxury fight to Tesla. BMW iX electric SUV is due in Australia late in 2021. Think iX3, but smaller.
