Two themes emerged from the 2022 Chicago Auto Show: special edition vehicles and those powered by some sort of electricity. The special edition vehicles included trucks and SUVs sporting an array of accessories and trim kits, while cars and SUVs using electricity are continuing to grow more dominant by the day. In the lead-up to the Chicago Auto Show, we got a teaser photo two days ago of a Kia "rugged runabout" concept that will be unveiled there in 10 days. The photo--a wintry shot of the front end of a car in an artful snow storm--immediately made us think that Kia might add electric all-wheel drive to its Soul tall wagon.
