Total to acquire Engie’s upstream LNG business, becoming 2nd largest global LNG player

Following the transaction, Total will take over the teams in charge of the LNG activities at Engie, which represents around 180 employees. Overall, combining its interests in liquefaction plants and its portfolio of third party supply contracts, the Group will manage a global volume of nearly 40 MTPA.
