The good news about the list of EV and PHEV sales from last year is there were 86 models listed, though several were cars that have gone out of production (like my Chevy Volt) but still managed to have a few laggards left for sale. The number of EVs in my neighborhood seems to be growing weekly.

It is exciting to see the variety and affordability of electric vehicles growing at the rate that they are, but we know it’s not enough. John’s Episcopal Church in Chicago’s Old Irving Park neighborhood. It would also create the EV Access for All program, which will support low-income electric car-sharing.

Until then, we can always program the ESS to make what Lotus refers to as "more futuristic sounds for electric vehicles [that] can be created using sampled sounds and generated waveforms." Alternatively, may we suggest the sound of the neighborhood ice cream truck? We always seem to hear that one coming from a mile away.
