Late to the party on EV incentives and decent charging infrastructure, only in the past two years have EV sales really made a dent in the Australian market. Dedicated city cars with cheap-feeling cabins, but rarer than a Pagani Zonda on our shores. These started at $43,990 drive away when they first went on sale in late 2020.

5 million government grant was awarded in the 2020/2021 budget to help set up Adelaide-based manufacturing facilities. BMW M cars – they’re coming with hybrid drivetrains. And if we’re guessing, we reckon it could be called the Ranger Lightning (see above). 2020 Ford Mustang Mach-E. Soon, apparently.
