That’s not surprising—the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid, the company’s only previous plug-in hybrid, is a well-executed PHEV with an EPA-rated 32 miles of usable electric range that retains all the virtues of the Pacifica minivan. It was all-new for the 2018 model year, and was engineered from the start to accommodate 2021’s PHEV version.

When the all-electric Kia Niro was introduced in 2019 it followed the 2017 Niro hybrid and then the 2018 Niro plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). The Niro EV has an EPA estimated driving range of 239 miles, but in our real-world driving delivered 273 miles. Juicing up. Battery – 10 years/100,000 miles.

Instead of waiting for the battery to completely discharge before charging, you may recharge your electric car whenever it is parked in your driveway or near an EV charging station.
