We need to go back to November 2017, to the start of the ‘Prius Revolution’ in the family. There is no need for a starter motor nor clutch in Toyota’s hybrid system. During reversing, the Prius is powered only by the electric motor. petrol engine is not running. How did it all start? It was time to buy our first car.
