At the turn of the millennium, nearly 20 percent of the state’s generating capacity was idled for maintenance. General Motors’ Impact debuted at the 1990 Los Angeles Auto Show. And the auto industry had just canceled the battery EV. At the moment, the auto industry does not have a clear interest in V2G.
