Buoyed by the US government’s CARS (“Cash for Clunkers”) program, US auto sales slowed their decline in the US in July, dropping on 12.1% Monthly sales of hybrids. Retail sales were down 9% while fleet sales declined 47%. Camry hybrid posted 2,509 units, down 5.1%.
