Approximately 4,500 barrels of oil and water (189,000 gallons US) have been recovered. Wabasca Heavy is a heavy oil from the Athabasca region obtained by polymer injection and water flooding and typically has a 19-20 API gravity and 4.15 All of the required actions of PHMSA’s order were completed by August 2012.

The Azul-1 well, the first to penetrate pre-salt objectives in Angolan deepwater, was drilled in water depths of 923 meters (3,028 feet) and reached a final depth of 5,334 meters (17,500 feet). In November 2006, it acquired a 50% interest and operatorship of Blocks 8 and 23 with Svenska Petroleum Exploration (30%) and Sonangol (20%).
