Johnson Controls does not believe it is the source of lead pollution in Pudong incident

Recent reports from China ( earlier post ) cited local environmental officials suggesting that battery maker Johnson Controls was the source of lead in a pollution incident in Shanghai affecting some 21 children. Johnson Controls has now issued a statement saying that it has “ no reason to believe we are the source of the issue.”
