Amazon buys 11 Boeing 767-300s for cargo network

Amazon announced its first purchase—rather than a lease—of eleven Boeing 767-300 aircraft. The purchases include seven aircraft from Delta and four aircraft from WestJet; the aircraft will join the Amazon network by 2022. The seven aircraft from Delta will enter Amazon’s air cargo network in 2022.
