TREMEC, a subsidiary of KUO , has acquired Electric GT , a provider of plug-and-play EV conversion systems. The acquisition will enable TREMEC to strengthen its product offerings in the rapidly growing ICE-to-BEV vehicle conversion market. The newly branded company, TREMEC – Electric GT, will be based out of Electric GT’s headquarters in Huntington Beach, CA, and will report directly to TREMEC leadership with access to TREMEC’s global resources.

The Jaguar I-Pace—the automaker's first and so far only EV—will disappear by 2025, ahead of the introduction of next-generation EVs, according to a recent Autocar report. The report, which cites the decision to drop the I-Pace as "officially confirmed" by Adrian Mardell, CEO of Jaguar parent company JLR. The exact timing is still in.

SK On, Korea-based EcoProBM and Ford will invest C$1.2 billion (US$886 million) to build a cathode manufacturing facility that will provide materials that ultimately supply batteries for Ford’s future electric vehicles. Once production begins in the first half of 2026, the site will have the capacity to produce up to 45,000 tonnes of cathode active material (CAM) per year.

Recent photos shared by electric vehicle enthusiasts online have revealed that a fleet of Tesla Cybertruck units has been delivered to the Fremont Factory. At the time the photos were taken, a total of nine Cybertrucks could be seen at the electric vehicle maker’s Fremont, California plant. The Cybertruck fleet was sighted by EV advocate group The Kilowatts , which has kept a close eye on Tesla’s developments in the area.

NASA and SpaceX are moving closer to the launch of Crew 7 to the International Space Station as Crew Dragon has arrived at Launch Complex 39A to be attached to the Falcon 9 second stage. The launch is currently scheduled just one week from now, on August 25th, and is scheduled for 3:49 a.m. ET (07:49 UTC). The Crew has already begun their quarantine to ensure they don’t get sick or bring any illnesses up to the Space Station and are scheduled to arrive in Florida on August 20th.

SpaceX had its sights set on back-to-back launches from the East and West Coasts. However, only the Florida launch managed to get off the ground and into orbit. The Starlink Group 6-10 mission lifted off at 11:36 p.m. ET (03:36 UTC on the 17th) from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida.
