Scientist have confirmed that unlike gasoline cars, plug-ins will get cleaner as they get older -- because our power grid is getting cleaner. But theyve needed definitive proof that PHEVs wont increase pollution. People routinely pay more for such options as sunroofs, automatic transmissions, V8 engines and leather seats.
