Scientist have confirmed that unlike gasoline cars, plug-ins will get cleaner as they get older -- because our power grid is getting cleaner. This means the more maintenance-free electrical systems of PHEVs offset the initial higher cost of batteries. CalCars produced the worlds first plug-in Prius (the PRIUS+) in 2004.

The customer will only pay a monthly fee about $240 (US Dollars) which includes a full maintenance service agreement; carbon offset payments and in some countries even all electricity used, and insurance. The electricity for recharging has to come from somewhere, which means power plants. I’m sick of hearing about the Prius….I
