While I was aware of this trend — I see it loud and clear in my own neighborhood — I hadn’t realized how wide-spread this trend actually was in the US. If batteries are not surviving the life of the vehicle, I personally find that an obscene position to be in as we drive forward with our environmentally-focused revolution. It’s in the pavement at a bus stop in the middle of a residential neighborhood. We also have a grocery delivery van with Waitrose in London.
