GEM commits to invest up to $100M in Skyworks Aeronautics; commercialization of eVTOL gyroplanes

announced a $100-million investment commitment from GEM Global Yield LLC SCS, a Luxembourg-based private alternative investment group. Skyworks Aeronautics Corp. Concurrent with a public listing of Skyworks Aeronautics shares, Skyworks Aeronautics will issue warrants to GEM to purchase up to 3% of the common stock of the company.

ATA files action against EU, calling ETS application to US airlines illegal

The Air Transport Association of America (ATA), the industry trade organization for the leading US airlines, brought action in the European Court of Justice (ECJ) in Luxembourg, calling for the European Union application of an Emissions Trading Scheme (ETS) to be dismissed and declared illegal.
