It will be named the Flywheel Capacitor and will consist of a high speed carbon fibre flywheel connected to a high-speed electric motor generator. By applying the recovered electrical energy captured from the vehicle during braking to the electric motor, the energy is stored in the Flywheel Capacitor and speeds up the flywheel.
