While the development of alternative jet fuels is a global challenge, SAFN focuses on sustainable biomass grown in the Northwest. The report recommends build a demonstration project aimed at proving the feasibility of a commercial biorefinery by creating a consortium involving regional public universities, industry, DOD and state governments.
