Electric range is 12 kilometers (7 miles). Development of this lithium-ion battery was inspired by technologies that have already proven themselves under the conditions in the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 team's Formula 1 hybrid racing cars. The control of vehicle dynamics also benefits from the hybrid drive.
