Volkswagen Group’s Škoda to unveil 500 km Vision E electric concept at Shanghai show; leveraging MEB for electromobility

The five-door SUV coupé can travel up to 500 km (311 miles) on purely electric power and meets the level 3 requirements for autonomous driving. The top speed of the two-motor, all-wheel drive concept is 180 km/h (112 mph). With system output of 225 kW, the ŠKODA VISION E accelerates instantaneously and dynamically.

Proton Motor Previews Triple-Hybrid Electric Drive Passenger Bus

Proton Motor Fuel Cell GmbH, a subsidiary of Proton Power Systems plc, a designer, developer and producer of fuel cells and fuel cell electric hybrid systems, has previewed the first passenger bus using the company’s “triple-hybrid” fuel cell system. The project was coordinated by UJV, a leading research institution in the Czech Republic.
