Alfa Romeo Tonale – the Italian brand finally has a rechargeable car in its ranks in the form of the Tonale PHEV compact SUV. General Motor eCrate conversion kits – by late 2021 GM plans to offer battery and motor kits for classic cars, allowing an easy EV conversion. Mazda is reportedly working on one for 2023.

Mazda Ford Partner was reported to be developing Series PHEV based on Mazda 5 MPV platform. Has shown some concept fuel-cell PHEVs.
